When preparing for the biggest day of your life the ceremony and reception are a major part and you want everything to be perfect. We believe the key to our success lies in the personal care and attention we devote to to your needs and requests, and the experience we can bring to planning the day

If you choose Horsley Lodge there is no need to worry about a thing. You will be in good hands, as we have been privileged to host many weddings, receptions and ceremonies over the past 16 years.
Our wedding coordinator will help you with the entire organisation before the event and her support team are always on hand to give advice right up to the big day itself.

All the finest details will be discussed with you in the weeks before to ensure that nothing has been left out; everything from table plans to what shape cake stand you require will have been arranged with you and your family, so you can relax knowing that all the final touches will be in place ready for when you and your wedding party arrives.

The Reception

The reception itself is kept as traditional as possible; the wedding party are welcomed with a complimentary drink, we can then arrange a line up to enable you to greet your invited guests.
The Duty Manager acts as a toastmaster throughout and begins with announcing the bride and groom into the room. The menu you have chosen then begins, your guests give their choice to our fully trained waiters and waitresses who then effortlessly serve them with the finest food.

The wedding breakfast takes place in the lovely surroundings of our air- conditioned Amber Suite and proceeds through to the speeches and the cutting of the cake. This usually takes around two hours after which your guests may relax while we prepare the room for the evening buffet and entertainment, which ends around midnight.
