Joining any golf club can be a difficult choice, especially as many offer enticing deals and no joining fee. Horsley Lodge is a big commitment as we do have a joining fee, but our promise to new and existing members of Horsley Lodge is probably the best course and a clubhouse providing you great value for your subscription fee.
Horsley Lodge is a proprietary club, owned by Horsley Lodge Ltd, whose directors are Richard and Malcolm Salt. The familys’ pride in their product, developed over 21 years, ensures a continued investment into all the facilities, where ensuring the members’ satisfaction is their primary aim.
The popularity of Horsley Lodge Golf Club is such that we have had been strict on the numbers of new members we accept. However, there are a number of 7 day memberships available. Contact Richard Salt (Owner/ Director) for an informal chat on becoming a member of the Golf Club, he can explain all aspects, offer a free preview round and discuss any discounts which may be available. You will need to fill-in and return a club membership application form. This can be obtained through the link below or on request at the reception desk. No matter how low your handicap, we also encourage you to book a golf tutorial with our Golf Pro Kevin Lock before being accepted. This will enable you to familiarise yourself with all the practice facilities Horsley has to offer.

Additional information
- A new student / young golfer age limit of 25 years has been introduced to encourage young people to remain playing the game after further education .
- A waiting list for people wishing to join as a 7 day member is in force when total 7 day membership is below 400. Priority is given to those on the waiting list having paid a deposit or who are current 5 day members.
- For the enjoyment of all our members, Horsley Lodge limits the number of members with 7 day access to 400.
- Special consideration will be given to 2 or more wishing to join, and golfers with handicaps from other clubs.
- If registration is closed then a deposit will secure your membership until a space becomes available. Please download and complete the membership form and return it to us. The deposit will be subtracted from your joining fee when you become a member.
- Applications can have right of admission reserved without prejudice.
