Horsley Lodge won the County Shield at Burton Golf Club last weekend to become County Champions for the 1st time in their history. The team of Jack Lynch, Sam Claypole and Liam Sinnott went round twice each in a combined score of 429 beating Chevin into 2nd place. Sam Claypole’s score of 70, 71 was enough to make him the County Amateur Champion for 2011.
