As a family we fell in love with Horsley Lodge and bought this beautiful farm at auction in 1986.
The history surrounding the lodge and the land amazed us. We found out it was originally built by The Earl of Stainsby in 1850 for his son. As the Salt family, we’ve only been lucky enough to share in its history for the past 20 years. During this time we have restored the property and turned the undulating land into an award winning golf course.
We have built a restaurant serving home from home local produce and created a small hotel with eleven unique bedrooms in the older part of the property, housing furniture that we feel sits well with the history of Horsley Lodge.
