The 'Highlander' has recently undergone a complete makeover, gone are the dark brown walls and in fresh greens and mellow tones. With the views of the lakes through the large expanse of glass, allowing natural light to the dining room it adds a really contemporary feel. A new Summer Menu is now out ......with a number of subtle changes from the previous one: Try the King Prawn Kebab for starters or the delicious 10oz Rib Eye steaks from Award Winning local Butcher Owen Taylor. Fish from our coastline the chefs have devised fabulous ways of serving them. We doubt our fishmonger is telling a fishy tale when he tells us your fish “was landed this morning and still in the sea last night.” Sweets
and puddings are freshly made or straight out the oven and
we've gone back to Chatsworth for some more excellent homemade Ice Creams.
