Each and every Sunday, The Highlander restaurant offers the very best in Traditional roasts. It fills up fast from 12 noon but goes on all afternoon, there is never much wait for a table. For £8.25 for adults and £4.95 for under tens, its a great way of getting out of cooking your own Sunday roast, a choice of three locally reared joints

Our mouthwatering Carvery offers a selection of succulent roast meats: There is English Topside of beef, beautifully cooked, just a little bit rare in the middle and a nice bit of fat to keep it moist under the lights. Local Lamb, and we mean very local, some come from our own farm in Little Eaton. Each week our chef chooses the best joints and cooks them with a few nice sprigs of fresh rosemary. Finally the most succulent leg of pork, rolled and slow roasted to produce the crackliest crackling.

There is always a chicken dish too, the Chef's in the kitchen will prepare this for you and a vegetarian option cooked to order. All accompanied by locally produced fresh vegetables.

No booking required, though very popular, the Highlander Carvery is an experience.
